Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Saturday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Saturday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.

Kyle Harrison Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-116) vs. Braves

Brewers at Braves – 4:10 pm ET

Harrison is coming off two starts in a row in which he failed to top four strikeouts, so he’s not exactly missing a ton of bats right now. However, he is averaging 6.2 strikeouts per game on the season, and he has had three starts in which he has reached double-digit Ks. I trust his stuff, even against a great team.

Bryce Harper Over 1.5 Total Bases (+142) vs. Mets

Mets at Phillies – 7:15 pm ET

Harper hasn’t done anything special lately, but he is averaging 2.1 total bases per game when facing right-handed starters this season. That said, when getting outrageous odds like +142, it’s hard not to like the 30-year-old to make something happen at the plate. Harper has two homers off Peralta in this career, and he has also doubled against the righty. It’s not a perfect matchup, but it’s not a bad one either.

Paul Skenes Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-112 – 1.5 units) & Alt Strikeouts 8+ (+171 – 0.5 units) vs. Rockies

Pirates at Rockies – 9:10 pm ET

Skenes has had at least seven strikeouts in nine of his last 10 starts. He has been his usual dominant self since turning in an awful start in his first outing of the season. Tonight, there is a chance Skenes lets up some runs, as pitching at Coors Field isn’t easy. However, Colorado has a 23.1% strikeout rate. This team is not great when it comes to avoiding Ks, which is why Skenes had 10 strikeouts against them in Pittsburgh on May 12. The change in scenery shouldn’t completely derail him.
