Saturday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Saturday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.

George Kirby Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-135 – 1.5 units) & Alt Strikeouts 6+ (+150 – 0.5 units) vs. Royals

Mariners at Royals – 4:10 pm ET

Kirby has had at least five strikeouts in four consecutive games, and he has also done so in eight of his 10 outings this year. That said, I’m keeping things simple and playing the Over on this lower total. I’m also sprinkling the alternate strikeouts at 6+. He’s averaging 6.5 Ks per game over his last two starts.

Matt Olson Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140) vs. Nationals

Nationals at Braves – 4:10 pm ET

Olson has cooled down significantly lately, but he’s still averaging 2.6 hits, runs, and RBIs (HRR) per game against righties this year. Well, not only is he facing a righty tonight, but he’s also facing a shaky one. Jake Irvin is 1-4 with a 5.79 ERA since the start of the season, plus Olson has two homers against the righty in 18 at-bats.

Mookie Betts Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135) vs. Brewers

Dodgers at Brewers – 7:15 pm ET

Betts hasn’t had a crack at too many southpaw starters this year, but he has gone Over 1.5 HRR in two of his three games against them. He also averaged 2.2 HRR per game against left-handed starters last season. That said, at a reasonable number, I’ll take my chances with Betts in his matchup with Robert Gasser.

Nick Kurtz Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-105) vs. Padres

Jeff McNeil Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+139) vs. Padres

Nathan Eovaldi Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+130) vs. Angels

Zac Gallen Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-126) vs. Rockies
