Player props have become one of baseball’s most entertaining ways to bet, offering value well beyond the moneyline, run line, or game total. Each day, this column highlights the best opportunities on the board — from strikeouts and hits to total bases and pitcher outs recorded — using matchup data, recent form, and betting trends to identify edges. Keep reading for the top MLB player prop picks for June 7. Also, make sure you check out our live VSiN programming for more. Sunday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Sunday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m going to keep these much shorter to cut down on my workload a little.
Jackson Chourio Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140) vs. Rockies
Brewers at Rockies – 3:10 pm ET
Chourio’s HRR total is up at 3.5 in some spots, which shows how good of a matchup he has today. Playing in hitter-friendly Coors Field, Chourio will be going up against lefty Kyle Freeland. This season, Chourio is averaging 2.0 HRR per game against lefties, and he’s facing one that has an ERA of 8.67 this year. He should go off.
Cade Cavalli Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-114 – 1.5 units) & Alt Strikeouts 6+ (+198 – 0.5 units) vs. Diamondbacks
Nationals at Diamondbacks – 3:15 pm ET
Cavalli has had at least six strikeouts in four consecutive games. He’s also averaging 5.7 strikeouts per game on the season. Well, that’s enough for me to back him to reach five or six against the Diamondbacks. Arizona can be guilty of chasing pitches.
Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (+118) vs. Angels
Angels at Dodgers – 4:10 pm ET
Ohtani will be going up against a high-level starter tonight, but does it matter? The slugger is averaging 2.9 total bases per game over the last 21 games, going Over 1.5 in 16 of those games. He’s also averaging 3.3 total bases per game against righties over the last 16 games.
