4:10 p.m. ET: Detroit Tigers at Seattle Mariners (-125, 7.5)

This is the rubber match of a three-game series.

The Tigers (55-59) won the opener 8-0, coming through as +110 road dogs. Then the Mariners (56-59) bounced back with a 4-2 yesterday, taking care of business as -150 home favorites.

In this late afternoon series finale, the Tigers start lefty Framber Valdez (6-7, 4.41 ERA) and the Mariners tap righty Bryce Miller (4-5, 2.80 ERA).

This line opened with Seattle listed as a -120 home favorite and Detroit a +100 road dog.

Sharps have jumped on the Mariners to earn a victory and take the series laying short chalk at home, pushing Seattle up from -120 to -125 or even -130 at some shops across the market.

At Circa, Seattle is receiving 83% of moneyline bets and 85% of moneyline dollars, a one-way “low bets, higher dollars” bet split in their favor from the sharps in Vegas.

When both teams are below .500, as is the case here, the home favorite priced -140 or less has gone 81-59 (58%) with a 4% ROI this season. If the are also coming off a win, like the Mariners here, that system improves to 45-26 (63%) with a 14% ROI this season.

Sweet spot home favorites priced -125 to -140 who made the postseason the previous year facing an opponent who also made the postseason the previous year are 58-31 (63%) with a 15% ROI since 2025.

Seattle offers correlative betting value as a favorite in a low total game (7.5), with the fewer amount of expected runs scored more likely to come from the “better” team who is expected to win.

Miller has posted a 1.34 ERA at home compared to 4.02 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are just 4-11 in Valdez’s last 15 starts.

The Mariners are 33-25 at home. The Tigers are 25-32 on the road.

7:10 p.m. ET: Chicago White Sox at Boston Red Sox (-180, 9)

The Red Sox (62-51) have taken the first two games of this three-game series, dominating the opener 14-2 as -150 home favorites and then winning again yesterday 4-0 as -150 home favorites.

In tonight’s series finale, the White Sox (59-54) hand the ball to newly acquired righty Luis Castillo (3-9, 5.06 ERA) and the Red Sox turn to lefty Ranger Suarez (4-3, 3.15 ERA).

This line opened with Boston listed as a -175 home favorite and Chicago a +155 road dog.

Sharps aren’t scared off by the expensive chalk and have laid the wood with the red-hot Red Sox, pushing Boston up from -175 to -180, with some shops touching as high as -190.

At Circa, Boston is receiving 80% of moneyline bets and 93% of moneyline dollars, a heavy one-way “low bets, higher dollars” split in their favor from the Vegas pros.

When both teams are above .500, as is the case here, the team receiving line movement in their direction has gone 162-103 (61%) with an 11% ROI this season.

Castillo has posted a 5.56 ERA in night games compared to 3.98 during the day.

Meanwhile, Boston is 6-1 in Suarez’s last seven starts. The White Sox are also hitting just .236 against lefties, ranking 22nd in MLB.

The Red Sox are hitting .261 since the All Star Break (8th best in MLB) while the White Sox are hitting .217 (27th).

Boston has the better bullpen as well, sporting a team ERA of 2.90 (best in MLB) compared to 3.82 for Chicago (10th).

7:30 p.m. ET: Minnesota Twins at Kansas City Royals (-120, 9)

The Royals (48-67) have taken the first two games of this three-game series, winning the opener 8-2 as +125 home dogs and then winning again yesterday 2-1 as -115 home favorites.

In tonight’s series finale, the Twins (56-59) send out righty Bailey Ober (7-3, 4.45 ERA) and the Royals go with fellow righty Michael Wacha (5-8, 3.51 ERA).

This line opened with Kansas City listed as a -115 home favorite and Minnesota a -105 road dog.

Sharps have quietly sided with the Royals to complete the sweep, pushing Kansas City up from -115 to -120 or even -125 across the market.

At DraftKings, the Royals are receiving 67% of moneyline bets and 70% of moneyline dollars. At Circa, the Royals are taking in 69% of moneyline bets and 79% of moneyline dollars. Both books are showing a “low bets, higher dollars” sharp split in favor of the home team.

When both teams are below .500 and both missed the playoffs the previous season, as is the case here, the home favorite is 41-22 (65%) with a 13% ROI this season.

Wacha has posted a 3.03 ERA at home and a 2.80 ERA in night games compared to a 3.87 ERA on the road and 4.70 ERA in day games.

Meanwhile, Ober has posted a 7.15 ERA on the road compared to 2.72 at home.

The Royals are 28-27 at home. The Twins are 26-32 on the road.

Kansas City is 8-4 against Minnesota this season.
