VSiN Pro subscribers now receive two of the best football publications of the summer: Our 2026 VSiN NFL Betting Guide and the new Fantasy Life Magazine from Matthew Berry and his team.

Even if you don’t play fantasy football, there are plenty of opinions inside that should catch the attention of sports bettors. Here are five that stood out.

🏈 Bijan Robinson could score a lot more TDs.
Atlanta’s changing backfield could lead to more goal-line opportunities, making Robinson’s touchdown props even more interesting.

🦁 Jahmyr Gibbs may have another gear.
If Detroit expands his workload with David Montgomery gone, Offensive Player of the Year odds and season-long props become worth another look.

🐅 Chase Brown is one of the biggest workload bets of the season.
A true three-down role in Cincinnati could create value in rushing yardage and touchdown markets before Week 1.

⚜️ One bold prediction: The Saints make the playoffs.
Season win totals and playoff odds may offer more value than betting them week to week.

🏈 George Kittle may be undervalued.
If the market overreacts to offseason injury concerns, his player props could become attractive early in the season.

👀 What I’m Reading

One statistic from a Wall Street Journal story jumped out at me:

With MLB’s Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system now in use, older umpires are seeing their calls overturned more often than younger ones.

  • Under age 40: 50.1% of challenged calls overturned
  • Age 40-49: 54.0%
  • Age 50-54: 57.2%
  • Age 55+: 58.2%

The oldest umpires also have their calls challenged more often than any other age group.

Does it change how you handicap games? Probably not by itself.

But if sportsbooks eventually begin pricing ABS-related trends into totals, strikeout props or pitcher performance markets, this is exactly the kind of information worth filing away.
