Who knew what and when?

The Ravens ruled out Lamar Jackson (hamstring) for today’s game vs. the Bears, moving the line from Baltimore -7 to -1.5 within three hours of Saturday’s X post.

The backgroundThe Ravens on Friday announced that Jackson was designated as “full participant” in practice, which moved the line from -6.5 to -7. In fact, Jackson took scout team reps and therefore should have been classified as a “limited participant.” On Saturday, Jackson was retroactively downgraded from full to limited on Friday’s injury report and ruled out. Tyler Huntley will start.

Let’s just say this is not an ideal scenario when the NBA is in the spotlight this week for alleged improprieties using inside information about players’ status.

Perhaps recognizing this, the Ravens felt it necessary to issue a clarification four hours after the first announcement. Meantime, the line settled at Baltimore -2 by Saturday night.

The NFL said it will look into the matter.

In other QB news . . .

FalconsKirk Cousins is likely to start vs. the Dolphins because Michael Penix Jr. (knee) is questionable. The line moved Saturday from Falcons -7.5 to -7 at Circa Sports.

Jets: Justin Fields was named the starter vs. the Bengals (-6) after Tyrod Taylor (knee) was ruled out.
