The VSiN NFL Betting Guide is out.
I went straight to the predictions page.
The result surprised me.
Nearly half of our hosts and writers picked the Rams to win the Super Bowl.
Los Angeles received 10 of 23 selections (43.5%), with Buffalo a distant second at six picks (26.1%).
The guide is 110 pages, so there is plenty more inside:
✓ 100+ futures, props and season-long betting recommendations
✓ Steve Makinen’s NFL regression and breakout systems
✓ Best bets on MVP, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year
✓ John Hansen’s favorite NFL player props
✓ Predictions for all 14 playoff teams
✓ Three burning questions for every NFL franchise
✓ NFL Betting Splits strategy from Josh Appelbaum
✓ Team-by-team betting analysis for all 32 clubs

⚽ Day 12: One Mismatch. One Trap.
Today’s World Cup slate features one of the tournament’s biggest mismatches and one of its trickiest betting markets.
Today’s menu (Circa odds):
Group J
Argentina (-210) vs. Austria (+655), 1 ET (Draw +330)
Jordan (+500) vs. Algeria (-180), 11 ET (Draw +180)
Group I
France (-1400) vs. Iraq (+3300), 5 ET (Draw +1150)
Norway (+120) vs. Senegal (+220), 8 ET (Draw +264)
France is a massive favorite, and both Nigel Seeley and Alex Blowers expect Les Bleus to roll.
Nigel writes:
“France has the firepower, depth and quality to overwhelm teams, and I think they make another statement here.”
👉 Nigel’s France-Iraq Best Bet →
Alex points to Iraq’s opening performance.
“Iraq’s underlying numbers from their Norway defeat make for grim reading. They were pulled apart at times, conceding four goals from 12 shots worth a hefty 2.52 xG.”
👉 Alex turns to the ladder for his France-Iraq wager →
The more intriguing betting matchup might be Norway-Senegal.
Luke DiVasta looked at the three-way moneyline and immediately became suspicious.
“This line looks like a complete trap.”
👉 Luke’s Norway-Senegal play →
Sunday Postscript: Cabo Verde’s Cinderella run continued with a 2-2 draw against Uruguay.
Maybe even more remarkable: Alex Blowers’ same-game parlay cashed again after Uruguay rallied from a 1-0 deficit with two late first-half goals.

⛳ That Six-Shot Lead Got Awfully Small
Wyndham Clark, 50-1 pre-tournament, won his second U.S. Open.
Just barely.
Clark took a six-shot lead into Sunday’s final round at Shinnecock Hills and saw it shrink to a single shot over Sam Burns. Burns just missed a birdie putt on the 72nd hole that would have tied Clark.
Next up: Royal Birkdale and the British Open.
Scottie Scheffler opens as the +350 favorite despite finishing four shots back.

⚾ Greg’s Monday Best Bets
One of Greg Peterson’s favorite positions on Monday’s card comes from Milwaukee-Cincinnati.
The Brewers will hand Brandon Woodruff his first major-league start since April 30, but Greg notes the veteran right-hander struggled during his rehab assignment, allowing six runs in nine innings.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati starter Brady Singer owns a 5.32 ERA and has been plagued by the long ball all season.
That combination points Greg toward both the underdog and the total.
Greg’s picks:
• Reds Moneyline +145
• Over 9 Runs

⚾ College World Series Finale
North Carolina (-130) meets Oklahoma (+110) tonight in the winner-take-all championship game.

🎾 Serena Is Back
Serena Williams has accepted a wild-card singles invitation into Wimbledon.
The 44-year-old is listed at +3500 to win the tournament.
I texted Gill Alexander for his thoughts.
Gill: “I’d set her win total at 1.5.”
Me: “Games, sets or matches?”
Gill: “Matches lol”
