🏒 Stanley Cup Final: The Goalie Question
VSiN hockey analyst Jonathan Davis says the first three games of the Stanley Cup Final have been “the best reality show on television.”

Saturday night’s Game 3 certainly fit the description.

The Golden Knights carried a 4-0 lead into the third period before Carolina scored three goals in a 39-second span and eventually tied the game with less than two minutes remaining. Vegas escaped with a 5-4 double-overtime victory and a 2-1 series lead.

According to JD, the biggest question heading into Tuesday’s Game 4 is whether Carolina makes a change in goal. Frederik Andersen was pulled after allowing four goals, and backup Brandon Bussi stopped 18 of 19 shots in relief.

One more note from JD: The Hurricanes haven’t lost back-to-back games since January 12-13.

⚾ MLB Sunday
Greg Peterson has posted his Sunday card, highlighting the spots where his projections differ most from the betting market.

One of Greg’s biggest edges comes in Chicago, where his numbers make the Cubs a larger favorite than the market and project more runs than the posted total.

As always, Greg isn’t betting teams. He’s comparing his projections to the market and looking for the biggest discrepancies.

🏇 Belmont Stakes Recap
Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo added another major trophy Saturday, winning the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga and paying $14.00 to win.

I mentioned Saturday morning that Mike Somich and Aaron Halterman had me intrigued by No. 2 Powershift at 14-1.

For a brief moment, I felt good.

Powershift went straight to the front, as the guys expected.

Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ended. He finished last.
