1:10 PM Eastern

Chicago White Sox vs. Minnesota Twins

The White Sox entered Wednesday averaging just 2.7 runs per game on the road this season, which ranks 27th in the league, while the Twins are 26th in scoring with just over 3.4 runs per game. White Sox starting pitcher Shane Smith has allowed just one home run across 22 1/3 innings over his first four starts, with a 2.82 ERA. Twins starter Chris Paddack enters having allowed just three runs across his past two starts, racking up 11 strikeouts in 10 innings.

Pick: White Sox vs. Twins Under 8.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 7.8 Runs)

2:10 PM Eastern

Colorado Rockies vs. Kansas City Royals (Game One of Doubleheader)

Royals starter Cole Ragans has pitched better than his surface-level 3.58 ERA suggests, posting a 1.80 FIP with 13.7 strikeouts per nine innings and just two home runs allowed through his first five starts. The Royals offense that entered Wednesday ranked last in the majors in scoring with under three runs per game, while the Rockies’ two runs per game away from home also rank last in the league.

Pick: Rockies vs. Royals Game One Under 8 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 7.2 Runs)

3:45 PM Eastern

Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Francisco Giants

The Brewers are giving Tobias Myers his first start of the season. He posted a 3.00 ERA as a rookie in 2024, but his 3.91 FIP suggests he may have benefited from some good fortune. He’s also four weeks behind in getting his season underway. Giants starter Landen Roupp enters with a 4.09 ERA but a better 3.25 FIP, and he’s cut down his walk rate from 4.6 per nine innings last year to 3.3 this season.

Pick: Brewers vs. Giants Over 7.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 7.7 Runs)

6:45 PM Eastern

Baltimore Orioles vs. Washington Nationals

Nationals starter MacKenzie Gore is striking out 14 batters per nine innings. While his ERA sits at 3.41, his 2.20 FIP shows how dominant he’s been in 2025. Orioles pitcher Cade Povich has struggled significantly on the road during his career, with a 6.81 ERA, over 1.5 home runs allowed per nine innings, and a drop in strikeouts per nine from 8.8 at home to 6.6 away.

Pick: Nationals Moneyline -110 (Greg’s Handicap: Nationals -132)
