Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola has struggled greatly this year, posting a 5.75 ERA, though his 4.67 fielding independent does point toward some positive regression. Mets starting pitcher Christian Scott has had issues with walks, issuing 4.2 per nine innings, but is registering a 3.17 ERA with 10.8 strikeouts per nine innings. He is supported by a lineup that is last in the National League in road scoring with 3.8 runs per game, but also by the better bullpen, as the Mets rank 15th in bullpen ERA at 4.01 while the Phillies rank 21st at 4.44.
