The 2026 NBA Summer League is in full swing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Well, as the Vegas Sports & Information Network, it’s only fitting that we’re covering something that’s taking place right in our backyard. With that in mind, we’re going to be doing some daily best bets for the action in Sin City. Keep reading for our Summer League picks and predictions for Friday, July 10.
Bucks ML (-120) vs. Heat – 4:00 pm ET
I’m always a little nervous about going against the Heat, as I’m a big believer in culture being something that trickles down. Miami is competitive as heck every single night, and that means that the Summer League players will need to play hard in order to impress the coaching staff and front office. The issue is that the Heat aren’t all that talented. They have some guards that can put the ball in the hole, but the Bucks have way better players. Sometimes it’s that simple. Brayden Burries, the No. 10 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, should be the best player on the court, and Bogoljub Markovic could be the best forward. Milwaukee also has some intriguing pieces in Rafael Castro, Cormac Ryan, Brandon Boston Jr., and Kira Lewis Jr. I’d be pretty surprised if the Bucks can’t bond together enough to win this one.
PARLAY: Nets ML vs. Knicks & Grizzlies ML vs. Bulls (-114) – 6:00 pm ET
I know it’s not a “real handicapper” move to throw two favorites in a parlay, but I like Brooklyn and Memphis and I’m not willing to lay the points. It is what it is. With the Nets, I just love the roster. Brooklyn is one of my pre-tournament futures, with Egor Demin, Mikel Brown Jr., Drake Powell, Danny Wolf, Ben Saraf, and Tyler Bilodeau giving the Nets the most talented team in Nevada. There’s also the fact that Brooklyn should be looking to deal New York some punishment after the Knicks’ title run. I can’t see them losing here. I also like Memphis to beat Chicago, as I like Cameron Boozer to out-duel Caleb Wilson. I also love that Memphis played in the pre-Vegas Summer League, meaning these players have played a little together. That handicap went against me in the Jazz-Wizards game on Thursday, but it has to count for something.
Suns ML (-130) vs. Trail Blazers – 11:00 pm ET
The Suns don’t have a very good backcourt situation, which is a little concerning. However, Phoenix might have the best frontcourt in the Summer League. Rasheer Fleming was an impact player for the Suns last season, utilizing his length and athleticism to be a good defensive piece. He also knocked down the occasional triple. Phoenix is now hoping that he can take his game to another level, and that starts with Summer League. The Suns will also be expecting a lot out of Khaman Maluach, who was a lottery pick in 2025. Maluach had his moments last year, but a leap is expected in 2026-27. He’s massive, he’s very skilled, and he’s eager to improve. With those two playing big minutes, the Summer Suns should be pretty dangerous and they’re well equipped to handle the size of Yang Hansen and the Blazers. Portland will be another team that’s hoping to win with size, but Phoenix just has more talent at forward and center — especially with Koa Peat and CJ Huntley providing more big man depth.
