The 2026 NBA Summer League is coming to an end in Las Vegas, Nevada. Well, as the Vegas Sports & Information Network, it’s only fitting that we’re covering something that’s taking place right in our backyard. With that in mind, we’re going to continue doing some daily best bets for the action in Sin City. Keep reading for our Summer League picks and predictions for Saturday, July 18, which features the semifinals of this event.
Grizzlies vs. Rockets
I’m not looking to lay 5.5 or 6 points with Memphis on Saturday, as Houston has been a high-effort team since arriving in Vegas. However, I do like the Grizzlies to win this game, and I think they’ll be similarly favored against the winner of Lakers-Warriors. With that in mind, I’m grabbing a pretty big piece of Memphis to win the Summer League. The Grizzlies did suffer one tough loss in Vegas, but we saw what this team was capable of on Thursday. In a must-win game — and one the team needed to win by a significant margin — Memphis beat the pulp out of Atlanta. That was a 32-point victory in which all of the Grizzlies stars showed up. Well, against Houston, it’s hard to imagine anyone having an answer for Cameron Boozer around the basket. The Grizzlies also match up super well on the perimeter, where Cedric Coward and Olivier-Maxence Prosper will look to check Bruce Thornton and a strong Rockets backcourt. In the end, Memphis’ edge in talent and experience should win out. We’ll then have a strong number to play around with in the finals.
Bet: Grizzlies To Win Summer League (+204 – 2 units)
Lakers vs. Warriors
The Warriors sat Will Richard and Lachlan Olbrich in their last game. Will they bring them back out for the Summer League semifinals? I’m not quite sure. But I’m grabbing the Lakers, who have shown that this means something to them. Los Angeles has been dialed in on both ends of the floor. The team has a strong athletic pairing in Cameron Carr and Adou Thiero, a very versatile big in Anton Watson, and a relatively deep cast of contributors. The Lakers went 4-0 in the group play portion of this event, winning their games by an average of 17.5 points per contest. As long as they just keep up the intensity, they should move on the finals. Watson’s matchup with Yaxel Lendeborg will be an interesting one to watch. The former Gonzaga big should be able to stick him.
Bet: Lakers ML (-102)
