An odd menu Sunday as five of the 11 games have spreads of more than a touchdown and only two games are at 3 points or fewer. Plus six road favorites and six teams on byes.
Writes VSiN.com managing editor Adam Burke:
There are a lot of road favorites this week in the NFL and a lot of teams that are in rather large favorite roles, as the midpoint of the season is well in the past and we know who is good and who isn’t.
At least, we hope we do, right? Let’s see what VSiN’s stable of experts have to say about this slate:
>Adam on Patriots-Dolphins: This should be a spot where Miami gets the blowout win and keeps the vibe train moving.
>Steve Makinen on Cowboys-Commanders: Yes, I know, I keep backing Dallas, but the way the Cowboys are playing is typical of NFL teams that have been historically profitable to back.
>Wes Reynolds on Titans-Texans: Lost in the Titans’ woes is that Will Levis has actually played fairly well in his last two starts. The Titans should hang around here.
>Matt Youmans on Vikings-Bears: This is the first time this season I’m on the Bears, and it might be the last.
>Dave Tuley on Lions-Colts: While Anthony Richardson still doesn’t have me looking for me to invest in his rookie cards, I saw enough to back them again here as home underdogs or more than a touchdown
>Zach Cohen on Eagles-Rams: Overall, I’m very high on Philadelphia. That’s part of the reason I invested a little in Nick Sirianni to win Coach of the Year at 100-1 last week. But this feels like a bad matchup, and that’s not even factoring that the Eagles had to fly across the country.
