The 2026 NBA Summer League is in full swing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Well, as the Vegas Sports & Information Network, it’s only fitting that we’re covering something that’s taking place right in our backyard. With that in mind, we’re going to be doing some daily best bets for the action in Sin City. Keep reading for our Summer League picks and predictions for Thursday, July 16.

Nets ML (-141) vs. Rockets

I continue to believe the Nets are the best team in Vegas. They have only suffered one loss thus far, but that was without Egor Demin and Mikel Brown Jr. As long as those guys are good to go on Thursday, I don’t see them losing this game. Of course, there’s no guarantee they will play. Brooklyn still has a shot at making the semifinals, but does the front office care? The good thing about the Nets is that they are deep enough to compete even without Demin and Brown. So, even in the worst-case scenario, Brooklyn might be able to hang around. The team nearly beat undefeated Atlanta without those two.

Bulls +3.5 (-108) vs. Lakers

The Lakers are 3-0 since the start of Summer League and they’re a win away from booking a spot in the semifinals. However, if Caleb Wilson plays, the Bulls will be the more talented team here. And I expect Wilson to play considering some of the comments he made calling out the rest of the 2026 class the other night. Well, Wilson doesn’t just play, he competes on both ends of the floor. So, having him going all out, with a solid supporting cast around him, could mean a surprising fight from a 1-2 Chicago team.

Hawks -3.5 (-105) vs. Grizzlies

While I like the talent on the Nets roster, the Hawks have been the best team at Summer League. They’re averaging 23.0 assists per game, which is the best mark of all teams. They’re also turning it over only 14.7 times per game, which is the sixth-best mark in Vegas. This team moves the ball well, they have a great on-ball guard in Kingston Flemings, and they have some awesome bigs. Now that they’re one win away from locking in a trip to the semis, I expect them to take care of business.
