🏈 From Eagles -1.5 to Cowboys -4.5: Can Dallas Cover?
Twelve days ago, Philadelphia was favored by 1.5 points. Tonight, Dallas is favored by as many as 4.5.
That’s quite a reversal for two teams that have both fallen short of market expectations, going 2-4 ATS.
The Eagles are missing their starting quarterback and top two receivers, although Saquon Barkley (hamstring) is expected back. His rushing prop is 69.5 yards.
But is Dallas really the team you want to lay more than a field goal with?
Zach Cohen had high hopes for the Cowboys coming into the season. Now he’s having second thoughts.
Dallas entered Week 7 allowing 0.154 EPA per play, the second-worst defensive mark in football.
“This feels like the same old Cowboys squad, and that’s a team that the Tanner McKee-led Eagles can beat,” Zach writes.
>> Zach’s Cowboys–Eagles Best Bets and Player Props
Matt Youmans also questions the number: “Maybe the Cowboys can get their act together, but this is a big number to cover on the road in a division game.”
Dave Tuley understands the line movement but isn’t convinced it’s justified, particularly after Dallas lost consecutive games to Tampa Bay and Green Bay.
Steve Makinen is passing on the side altogether. Instead, he’s found an angle on the total of 44 at Circa.

📊 NFL Rewind / Fast Forward
The NFL’s unbeaten club is down to one — and its winless club is down to one, too.
The 49ers and Chiefs both suffered their first losses Sunday, leaving the Vikings as the league’s last undefeated team. Meanwhile, Miami finally broke through for its first victory, leaving the Chargers as the NFL’s lone winless team.
Congratulations if you had that ticket — as Gill Alexander did. >> See Gill’s prediction a month ago
How Did Bettors Fare Sunday?
Dave Tuley’s Week 7 ATS Report has favorites 9-4 straight up and 7-6 ATS heading into MNF. Overs lead 7-6.
For the season, favorites are 64-39-1 straight up (plus two pick’ems), but underdogs lead 54-44-6 ATS (55.1%). Overs lead 54-50-2 (51.9%).
🔮 The Biggest Favorite of Week 8? The Bengals.
Cincinnati is laying more points than any other NFL team next Sunday — including the Rams, who face the league’s only winless team.
The Bengals opened as 10-point favorites over Tennessee, with the line already moving to 10.5 at many sportsbooks Sunday night.
Meanwhile, the Rams are favored by just seven against the winless Chargers, down from a lookahead line of 7.5.
Adam Burke examines both matchups, including whether Cincinnati’s second-half rally against Baltimore signals a turnaround — and whether the Chargers can regroup after their bye week.

💸 Circa Survivor Down to 660
Three of Sunday’s five most popular Survivor selections lost — wiping out another 613 entries.
The Texans (303 selections), Jets (256) and Panthers (54) all went down, reducing the field to 660 survivors in the quest for $25 million.

💰 Grandissimo: Three Entries Remain
The $7.7 million winner-take-all Circa Grandissimo nearly ended Sunday.
Three entries were eliminated by Houston’s loss. But two contestants survived thanks to Minnesota’s comeback victory over Indianapolis, and one more advanced with Denver’s win.
That leaves three live entries competing for $7.7 million.
