The 2026 French Open (also known as Roland Garros) is officially underway at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris. We’ve broken down the day’s best tennis betting picks, digging into matchup tactics, surface tendencies, and current form to find the sharpest edges on the board. Whether you’re betting the moneyline, game spread, set spread, or total, our 2026 French Open best bets are designed to help you profit. I’m dropping some of my favorite plays for Saturday, May 30 below, but make sure you also monitor the picks page. I usually have a few more picks over there, plus I occasionally add plays based on how lines are moving. That’s also where Gill Alexander posts his bets.
Maja Chwalinska vs. Maria Sakkari
We have seen signs from Sakkari this season, as she’s over .500 and has a win over Iga Swiatek to her name. However, it’s still pretty clear that Sakkari’s best days are behind her. This is also a player that has struggled to deal with the expectations that come with playing tennis at a Slam — and that’s especially true in this venue. That makes this a great opportunity for Chwalinska.
This is a really strong matchup for Chwalinska. She has been a tough out on clay in her career, as she is a great mover, she never gets tired, and she loves long rallies — with higher bounces never bothering her. I think there’s a chance that her baseline grinding really gets to Sakkari, who can be a bit more error-prone than you’d think.
Also, while I have to note that Sakkari did beat Chwalinska in Rome in 2025, the 24-year-old is only getting better and better. She should be ready to knock Sakkari out.
Bet: Chwalinska ML (-125)
Camila Osorio vs. Anna Kalinskaya
Osorio is 59-26 in clay-court matches in her career. We have already had success backing the Colombian this tournament, and there’s really no reason not to go to her again here. Kalinskaya is a player that can be really smooth as a ball-striker, but the Russian has a losing record on the dirt. She’s just 24-28 on this surface at the WTA level, which isn’t surprising considering her playing style. Kalinskaya might move well, but she’s really a flat hitter. That makes her less dangerous when talking about a surface that rewards variety.
Osorio also happens to have two wins over Kalinskaya under her belt, so she knows what it takes to defeat the Russian. That said, why not back her to do so on her favorite surface?
Bet: Osorio ML (+100 – 2 units)
Jaime Faria vs. Frances Tiafoe
I always get a little nervous as a qualifier works his way through a tournament. You just never know when fatigue will catch up to a player. However, Tiafoe is coming off two long, physical matches in a row. First, the American battled his fellow countryman Eliot Spizzirri in a 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-3 win in the first round. Tiafoe then earned a 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), 6-4, 6-7 (1), 6-4 win over Hubert Hurkacz in the second round. There’s just a decent chance that Tiafoe won’t be feeling much better than Faria, even with the 22-year-old having played three more matches since arriving in Paris. In fact, he might be feeling worse. Going four hours and 43 minutes against a big server like Hurkacz can be brutal.
As long as Faria isn’t in worse physical condition than Tiafoe, the Portuguese up-and-comer has a shot here. This is a player that has won some big matches on clay in his career, and his game should work quite well against Tiafoe’s. Faria has big power from the back of the court, and his down-the-line backhand is a major weapon. Faria also has a nice drop shot, plus he’s a little more natural than Tiafoe when it comes to maneuvering the baseline.
Bet: Faria ML (+155)
