LAS VEGAS – March Madness is looming, but the 2020 football contest season is on a lot of people’s minds with Circa Sports opening registration for its two contests at 8 a.m. PT on Friday, March 6, at the downtown Golden Gate & D hotel-casinos.
For those who don’t know, Circa Sports had added a Circa Survivor contest ($1,000 entry fee, limit 5 per person, can use each NFL just once, $1 million guaranteed minimum to champion, Thanksgiving games counts as own week, $1 million bonus for champ going 18-0) to the second running of the Circa Sports Million ($1,000 entry fee, guaranteed $3 million prize pool with $1 million to champion, pays Top 50, $250,000 prizes each “Quarter” with prizes split 150K/75K/25K). My story on Circa’s offerings is on our VSiN website at: https://vsin.com/circa-doubles-up-on-big-football-contests/ and you can get full details on Circa Sports Million II at https://www.goldengatecasino.com/circa-sports/the-circa-sports-million-pro-football-contest/ and the Circa Survivor at https://www.goldengatecasino.com/circa-sports/the-circa-survivor-pro-football-contest/.
The Westgate SuperBook has been taking entries for its three high-end football contests (SuperContest Classic with $1,500 entry fee, winner-take-all SuperContest Gold with $5,000 entry fee and SuperContest Reboot on NFL Weeks 9-17 with $500 entry fee) since Jan. 13. My VSiN article on the difference in the Westgate’s rules for 2020 are at https://vsin.com/westgate-opens-2020-supercontest-registrations-on-monday/ while all the official rules can be found at https://www.westgateresorts.com/hotels/nevada/las-vegas/westgate-las-vegas-resort-casino/casino/supercontest/
But, wait, there’s more . . .
While pro football is obviously king in football betting and especially in the contest world, the Westgate continues to increase its offerings across the sports landscape. Before anyone asks, entries for all of these contests must be done in person in Nevada (at the Westgate in these cases)

And if you’re a VSiN annual subscriber . . .
VSiN is hosting its fourth Beat the Spread Challenge on the NCAA Tournament. It’s open only to VSiN annual subscribers and if you pick more winners than your fellow subscribers, you could win the first prize of $10,000. In addition, the champ will earn a spot on the “My Guys in the Desert” show, two nights at the South Point and free proxy service from footballcontest.com if you want to enter the football contests mentioned above.
If you’re a streaky picker, there are also $1,000 prizes for the most winners in Week 1 (first and second rounds) and Week 2 (Sweet 16 and Elite 8).
