🧠 Zach Cohen’s NBA Report
Cavs Advance To Eastern Conference Finals
The Pistons were 4.5-point home favorites in Game 7, seemingly possessing all the momentum in the world after having defeated the Cavaliers in a road Game 6. Well, Cleveland was able to put that lousy Game 6 performance in the rearview mirror, and the Cavaliers came out and whooped the Pistons in Little Caesars Arena on Sunday.
Cleveland ended up earning a 125-94 victory, with Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Donovan Mitchell all playing tremendous games. Sam Merrill was also big off the bench.
The Cavs will now head to New York for a Game 1 meeting with the Knicks on Tuesday. It’s an extremely quick turnaround for Cleveland, but New York hasn’t played since May 10. That makes this an interesting rest versus rust showdown.
DraftKings Sportsbook has the Knicks at -270 to win this series, and there will be no shortage of bettors on New York. But don’t sleep on the possibility of Cleveland making this a series — and possibly even winning it. I’ll have more on that at VSiN.com on Monday, so keep an eye out for my Knicks-Cavaliers series preview.
Spurs-Thunder Game 1
Tonight, we’ll see Oklahoma City host San Antonio in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals (8:30 ET, NBC). The Thunder, who haven’t lost a game in these playoffs, are 6.5-point home favorites.
Oklahoma City will have Jalen Williams back, as the All-NBA forward isn’t listed on the injury report. That’ll be huge for the Thunder, who could also have an extra pep in their step with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander having claimed his second straight MVP award on Sunday.

⛳ PGA Championship: Longshot lands
Raise your hand if you had one of the 12 Circa Sports tickets on Aaron Rai to win the PGA Championship.
.
Which means it wasn’t a great result for the rest of the betting public.
Next up: the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in one month. Rai is +8000 at DraftKings.
At least someone I know made money off the tournament: CJ Sullivan, a frequent VSiN guest from the Sports Gambling Podcast crew, finished second in the VSiN High Stakes PGA Championship. His combination of McIlroy, Henley, Burns, Kitayama, English and Smalley was good for $10,080.

Greg Peterson is targeting Cubs-Brewers.
Milwaukee sends out a struggling arm, while Chicago counters with Shota Imanaga and one of the league’s top offenses. Wind blowing out only adds to the scoring outlook.
