🏈 Two Showdowns. Two Road Favorites. One Loss Among Four Teams.
Saturday’s college football schedule features two heavyweight matchups involving four teams with a combined one loss. And in both games, the home team is the underdog.
Ohio State (-3) at Indiana — Noon ET, Fox
Notre Dame (-10.5) at BYU — 7:30 p.m. ET, ABC
For Wes Reynolds, a proud Indiana graduate, the first game is personal.
He calls Ohio State–Indiana “arguably the biggest and certainly the most anticipated game in the history of Memorial Stadium.”
But the Hoosiers aren’t getting much respect.
“Most of the national media discussion and punditry predict an Ohio State win and say this is where Indiana gets its comeuppance,” Wes writes.
Wes makes the case for Indiana — and has 10 other plays on his Saturday card.

Meanwhile, Matt Youmans has had a strong opinion on Ohio State–Indiana all week. He also sees a potentially decisive factor in the night’s other marquee matchup.
BYU running back LJ Martin, one of the nation’s best, is sidelined. That leaves quarterback Bear Bachmeier facing a Notre Dame defense allowing just 11 points per game.
As Matt puts it, Bachmeier may have to become a “one-man wrecking crew.”
Matt has picks on both marquee games, plus two more.

Injury news and some unusual differences between sportsbooks are adding intrigue to Sunday’s NFL slate.

Ravens: Lamar Jackson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Browns.
Packers: Running back Josh Jacobs is expected to come off the Commissioner Exempt List and be eligible to play in Week 7.

📊 Two NFL Lines That Don’t Agree
As Circa owner Derek Stevens pointed out to Matt Youmans on Friday, you don’t often see significant differences between sportsbooks on NFL games.
But there were two notable exceptions as of Friday night:
Bears–Falcons: Pick’em at Circa; Chicago -1.5 at DraftKings.
Saints–Giants: Pick’em at Circa; New Orleans -1.5 at DraftKings.

⚾ ALCS Game 4, Take Two
Friday’s Rays–Guardians game was washed out, and now the handicapping gets even trickier.
ALCS Game 4 has been rescheduled for tonight (8 p.m. ET), forcing both teams to adjust their pitching plans.
As Adam Burke puts it: “From a betting standpoint, this game remains a giant mess.”
Pitchers who expected to work Friday are now shifting to Saturday. And the weather could limit offensive upside for two teams that weren’t hitting many home runs to begin with.
Does the extra day change the betting approach? Adam has updated his Game 4 analysis.
