MLB Best Bets and Props
Almost every team plays a day game on Sunday, making it my favorite day of the week. However, it can be a tricky day for MLB best bets and props due to getaway days and players receiving the afternoon off. So be sure to double-check lineups.
Below are two of my MLB best bets for Sunday, June 9, but price shop for the best odds available to you at the time of viewing.

Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels
4:05 pm ET
Justin Verlander is coming off a disappointing performance against the St.Louis Cardinals, so I love him to bounce back against a lowly Angels lineup.
Los Angeles is batting an MLB-worst .203 versus right-handed pitching over the last 30 days with a mere 34% hard hit rate and 81.8% in-zone contact rate.
Verlander has not allowed much hard contact all season, ranking in the 94th percentile in hard contact allowed, so this is a great spot to take his Under 5.5 Hits line.
Right-handed pitchers have hit Under 5.5 Hits against the Angels in their last nine starts (Under in 13 of 15 overall).
MLB Best Bet: Justin Verlander u5.5 Hits (-110)
Minnesota Twins vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
1:35 pm ET
After deploying six of their available nine bullpen arms on Saturday, the Pirates are in desperate need of some length on Sunday from starting pitcher Jared Jones.
The good news is that Jones has pitched at least six innings (18 Outs) in eight of his 12 outings this season, making his Over 17.5 Outs props a solid prop target on Sunday.
The Twins are batting .212 with a .288 on-base percentage, .286 wOBA, and a 40.5% ground ball rate over the last 30 days versus right-handers.
I expect Jones to have a strong showing given his ability to limit base runners and put hitters away.
MLB Best Bet: Jared Jones o17.5 Outs (-125)
